It’s A Dogs Life

September 29, 2011

This photo was taken downtown Snohomish, WA. It is quite popular for their antique stores. My husband was in this store  while  I was across the street. Having had a few special dogs in my life it caught my eye.

No matter how little money and few possessions, you own, having a dog makes you rich..Louis Sabin

Money will buy you a pretty good dog, but it won’t buy the wag of his tail.. Josh Billings

Peace and serenity are what I see in this photo. What a nice tribute.

I really enjoy strolling down the main drag in Snohomish. Great dog quotes!

Seems to me that’s about the best PR a shop could have! If a dog is happy and content around you, you’re doing something right!

I really like this shot. It’s a snapshot of a normal day, and it’s got plenty to look at, like a normal day would, but then with the dog and empty chairs, there’s a quiet pace too it that draws you in. Very nice! 🙂

I love the colors in this photo! Beautiful. I love antique shops. But I can never hear that Charles Schulz quote without thinking that a happy warm puppy will probably piddle on you. : )

Oh, how I love this post Roberta. I’ve had many special dogs in my life too, and I’m longing for one now. There is nothing like coming home to someone who you make ecstatically happy just by your very presence. Thanks for making me smile!

I don’t think I could live without a dog—but if I had to because of physical limits, God would certainly send me a cat. I love them, also.

I have a saying: “The only time a dog breaks your heart is when he (or she) dies!”

We have had Pembroke Welsh corgis for the last 17 years—they are so sweet and funny!
