No One’s Home

November 19, 2011

This was someone’s homeNow it sits empty and aloneWho took the time to gather the rocks to mix the cementThat holds them in place

Who had the vision for a place of shelter

for a place of warmth

what laughter was heard

what tears were shed

what dreams were alive

What dreams died

in this rock house

that was a home..rgould

I wonder who lived there? Someone cared A LOT to do all of that careful stone work! I also wonder what their lives were like…I wonder, too…

Wow, what an amazing place. It’s too bad place like that are left to erode. It does bring up such questions. Great images and thank you! 😉
