Tangled

This sailboat caught my eye last summer in Astoria because  it’s color appealed to me. I don’t know anything about sailing but this looks like it is in need of repair (or not) and if I had to figure out what to do with all of the ropes, I most certainly would  make a mess..

Sailboat sits

waiting

for someone

to untie the knots

so that is can be

set free..

  1. I grew up between the boats, the old boat is highly coveted, as the sail in the sea you can feel that you are part of the heart of the ship …
Thank you for sharing this beauty of the sea.

    1. Hi Brenda, thank you and nice to hear from you. I have not been able to leave a comment at your blog lately. I did stop by a couple of times and tried to respond. I’ll go back and try to figure it out.

  3. How interesting that the colours of the sail boat appealed to you – and then you took them away in the post-processing. You made the photo look almost like a drawing. Very nice. I like your thoughts around setting the sail boat free. Free all the world’s boats!
