Who Has Seen the Wind

May 8, 2012

Who has seen the wind?

Neither I nor you:

But when the leaves hang trembling,

The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?

Neither you nor I:

But when the trees bow their heads

The wind is passing through..

                                                          Christina Rossetti

This morning there a slight breeze. I love the flutter of  leaves as though they are dancing.  Our neighbor hung a chime that adds a very calming sound to our mountain retreat. He made a point of telling us that if it got to be too much to let him know, as he is not a permanent resident. That was thoughtful of him to consider us… Sunday afternoon we walked to the post office and of course an opportunity to take pictures. Our small community is sprinkled with Tulips, Lupine and lots of Lilac.

Really nice shots. I love your processing on the purple flower. And the tulips behind the fence are cool – the 3 sections make a very nice found triptych.
