In the Spirit of Ansel and Evelyn

July 8, 2012

I recently purchased a used book from our library on Ansel Adams. It is called The Portfolios of Ansel Adams. It is intriguing as it has an assortment of subjects, from the mountains to the ocean, clouds and more. I admire his work and can appreciate the methods of photography used in the past. There is a book I have wanted to purchase for quite a while. It is based on a frontier photographer named Evelyn Cameron.

I was inspired to try my hand at b&w..

I am a colour-lover, but these B&W’s are great. Inspiring post.

It’s always good to feel inspired … and with great results! I especially like the water lily image 🙂
