Derelict is the prompt for this Friday at Pixel Dust Photo Art. It did not take me long to decide what photos to use. I had these tucked away in my files. End of the Road is a good title for the following…
The Beast # 1
The Beast #2
The Beast #3
Right now I only use Picasa. I have not advanced to any other photo imaging software. I have gotten acquainted with using backgrounds and textures, thanks to Bonnie and a few other blogger’s that I follow. I have been taking slow steps as I learn. When we moved to this location in the mountains I had noticed this truck sitting in a field along with a few other trucks. I am so glad we stopped when we did to get pictures. Since that time they have been towed away…This 3rd image kind of has a ghostly look. I see exhaust in the back of the truck as though it is driving away..
Nice work. I agree that the third one has a ghostly look.

Nice beastly series. How cool that you found that name already on that truck. HOw perfect is that? Beast #2 really sends me. I love the whole mysterious feel of that one. Great work. It doesn’t what what processing tools you use. Sometimes the most basic things are best. And it’s amazing how much can be done with things like Picasa. Keep playing and having fun. I always look forward to your work. 🙂

such fun and wonderful photos. makes me want to know more about The Beast!!! I’m very slowly branching out into things other than Picasa, and I am with you. slow is good. there is so much inspiration to BE found here in Photo Art Friday. I have been at it for several months Now and have sort of marinated in an entirely new language!! great series and much possibility for story.

whatever program you are using you are producing some excellent images~!
i think they’re all great and as someone else mentioned they seem to prompt a story . . .
i do think the third one is my favorite and agree with you about the truck appearing to produce exhaust. ghostly indeed.

Hi, Roberta. I’m thankful you captured that relic, a moment in time, as well. How beautiful! The photos really look like paintings—better than many paintings. What boundless creative resources we have!!! 🙂
