Photo Art Friday

November 2, 2012

I can’t believe, that it’s November. It’s seems that not too long ago I was anticipating, the arrival, of October.  I spent the month painting and I can almost say that I am finished. Just a little touch up now. With all of the devastation, of the storm, we West Coaster’s are counting our blessings.  It will take a lot of resources, sheer determination and strength for the road of recovery ahead. ..  It is Photo Art Friday. The prompt, for the week was for us to use the texture Cobblestone Road that Bonnie, has again so graciously, provided for us. I had to narrow down, my choices, and decided on the two images.

It was very foggy when we visited this Lighthouse in Oregon.

This photo was taken in Eureka, California.  Once again I look forward to viewing all of the submissions for Photo Art Friday.

I like them both, but I think my favorite is the lighthouse!

Both a nice pieces although I’m drawn more to the Lighthouse shot. I’ve visited that lighthouse so it brought back some lovely memories.

That lighthouse really is exceptional. I also like your other photo with the texture as it brings things to mind [or heart?!] that made me smile. Well done!!!

interesting images and both quite different from one another.
the second one has sort of a time travel feel to it . . .
and the first makes me feel like stopping and breathing deeply. very peaceful.

The lighthouse image works so well with the texture. The receding lines of the bricks resemble beams of light!

My favorite is the second one.

Since I’ve been to both places, and enjoyed them, you brought back fond memories. I’m not an art/photograpy maven, but I like the first one much more.
