Slowly but Surely

March 13, 2013

We are recovering from the last snowfall and it is melting like crazy. There still may be more on its way at the end of the month. Time will tell. I am seeing signs of spring as the vigorous plants emerge through the snow and do what they do best. Life has been a bit hectic but yesterday I took time to play and create. We planted this White Lilac last spring when we moved here, so it will be wonderful event when we actually get to see it…

I’m still baffled by the process you use but it’s always stunning! I would frame this one.

We have wait yet about three weeks. It is full winter here, cold, snow, frozen lakes, but Sun is shining after long winter and it makes us to feel good.

Hi Margaret, thank you! I am having a blast learning new techniques at Picasa. It is a free program where I go to tweak and experiment with my photos. I really like the watercolor look if I can get it right. I work with pixelating, and then work with the lightening or darkening to get it to where it appeals to me… I appreciate your thoughts as I am in the process of making postcards to sell at a local gift shop. God has been with me every step of the way…He is cheering me on… (:
