The Red Shoes # 2

April 8, 2013

I did not intend to leave you dangling with my unfinished story about the Red Shoes. So here my friends, are some photos from that days events. There was quite a festive mood in the air that morning.  I think the Blessing of the Animals must be a huge undertaking to orchestrate and require a tremendous amount of work.

A well-known tourist attraction in Los Angeles

Come one, come all..

Here are some of the pretty young ladies waiting to perform their dance.I will have to do a part 3, as there is a lot to share from this gala event.

At this time I want to take the opportunity to say Hello and Thank You to my newest readers here at In Other Words and Pictures. I Welcome You and am happy to have you join me on this journey… (:

When I was in elementary school we had a field trip to Olvera Street. I bought myself a piggy bank. Fun memories…
I love all the color in this celebration and your photos!
