It’s Not Moonshine

I don’t know what moonshine looks like but this homemade concoction is Vanilla. Thanks to Melanie at Love Library, she shared the recipe to make it. Buying two vanilla at a time is not the way to go and better to go online and buy in bulk. It will be a while before it can be used. I look forward to using it. We are all packed up and ready to hit the road tomorrow. Oregon, here we come, four cats and all. Here are a few recaps of late.

My goodness, what memories here. My mother used to make her own vanilla all the time, and I used to have a raccoon mama and babies as regular visitors. I miss them all.

Safe travels! What an adventure, and what a Christmas present, to finally be able to be hitting the road. Merry Christmas!

Baking tastes so much better with “real” vanilla extract! It is well worth the wait. Safe travels and a very merry Christmas!

Safe journey to you. Those racoons can really be pests!

I had a friend years ago that had two raccoons as pets ( California. 1970. You get my drift?) Those buggers were NASTY!
    Enjoy the ‘journey’ Roberta.
