i think that if walls could talk
so could this tree
the history it holds
within its core
perhaps, i shall sit
under this old tree
and wait and see
if it will talk to me…
walking by faith and not by sight
i think that if walls could talk
so could this tree
the history it holds
within its core
perhaps, i shall sit
under this old tree
and wait and see
if it will talk to me…
what a fabulous tree!!

Awwwwwwww. Thanks, Roberta. Nice to be missed. Lots of things going on with my mom having gone to hospital, and now rehab. Insurances that are insane to deal with, visits to keep her cheery (my sis and I are the only family she has so it’s up to us). Just a whole bunch of mumbo jumbo. I hope, really really hope, to get some time to myself to get back into blogging. I miss it so. I try to peek at some once in a while and comment, but I can’t keep up the pace I was doing before this.
I absolutely LOVE this post. Great photos!
Be ‘seeing’ you. 🙂

It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I do wish your mom the best. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. Getting one’s medical needs taken care is crazy, since all is so pricey. I’ve not had medical or dental for years and now I am supposed to enroll here in Oregon and it all sounds so iffey, as in it’s all still not worked out?? Anyway, thank you for the update. You’ll get back into the swing of things when you are able. Take Care!

It’s that glorious wisteria that captured my eye. It’s one of my favorites, and that’s quite a stand of it.

Hi Lara! We lived in a mountain community of southern Ca for almost two years. One time my husband showed me a very old oak tree that had a rock stuck in its limbs. He said it weighed at least 600 hundred pounds. Many trees take a lot of nature related hardship but they don’t go down without a fight..lol!
