May Mail

DSCN5752This is my most recent postcard that I got in the mail from Russia. I so enjoy sending postcards and receiving them, it is always such a nice surprise.

Postcrossing is an easy way to make someone’s day in another country.

Several of them put together in a collage format.

  1. So beautiful all of them, and I like the collage idea of the received postcards, last month I participated a postcard swap, I posted all the ones I made, but I haven’t posted the ones I received. I will do like you! thanks for the idea.

    • Hi Elizabeth! Eventually I’d like to attempt making postcards. I have had a great time with photo processing and it makes me feel like a real artist.lol!

  2. I loved having pen pals when I was in grade school and this reminds me of that. Such a great idea. Thanks for sharing their link. I may have to give this a try. Have you been doing it long? I am one that still loves getting mail, and look forward to awaiting the arrival of something in the mail so it’s right up my alley. šŸ™‚ I’ll send you a post card also. šŸ™‚ I’m in Ohio. Have a great week.

    • Hi Patricia, I highly recommend Postcrossing. I have been apart of it for just over two years. I love that is it something that draws people of integrity. Well, that’s my experience so far. Sometimes someone will draw a tiny something on it or add a tiny sticker.I too was one that liked pen pals and then I had girlfriends in elementary school that got to travel and they would send me postcards. So the postcard bug that I caught goes way back. I’d be happy to send you and Oregon postcard. My name is Roberta… You have a wonderful week too!
