Rambling Road Trip

September 19, 2015

The Model T’s came out today

on the road from Bend

they rambled our way

lucky me-i got to see

such pristine cars of old

in the sunshine you shone

many stories you hold

of days not the same

of a slower paced life

on simple roads of two lanes..

We just happened to see them on our way home. They were a car group from the Bend area on a tour of covered bridges..

It takes a lot to get and keep one of these into such fine condition. It’s amazing there are so many after all these years.

Just beautiful! Antique cars bring back such warm childhood memories for me! My dad loves Fords and restored two beautiful Model A Fords when I was growing up. What fun to take rides in the rumble seat! Thank you for the sweet smiles today! ♡

These are just great! I like the old ones better than the souped up ones, although I’d take a ’57 Chevy if someone wanted to give it to me!
