The raindrops are a perfect addition. What is that they’re clinging to? The colors are beautiful.

Thank you Linda! The shrub is called Barberry. I just read that the berries are edible and there is a Russian candy made from them. We recently planted two small ones. This one that I photographed is downtown near our library and post office.

I would call the atmosphere of the picture ‘silent’, it just feels that way to me. It’s very … expressive? Is that the right word? Hope that all makes sense haha
Lovely colours and raindrops, you’ve captured them perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing! xx

I am so glad you knew the name of the barberry bush since I knew it was not orange enough to be bittersweet. The pretty berries remind me of something I took a photo of recently. It seemed less pretty (my photo looks like weeds!) and not as full of light like your beautiful photograph here. You captured the translucency of the water droplets do well upon this plant and berries. Thanks, Roberta for the simple word, too. I like ” mingling” with you here. 🙂

If I could just travel around to the small towns of Oregon and take pictures and write about them would be ideal…. We wordpress minglers get along pretty well..lol! Thanks Robin!
