Weekly Photo Challenge: Details

July 15, 2016

Our week of quality time with family, came to a conclusion, as of this morning. It was wonderful, having visitor’s in our home. I call it,  a full cup and overflowing sweet time. One of our excursions took us to Albany, Or, where whimsical carousel animals, are coming to life. Carver’s and painters are hard at work with the intent to have 52 animals, with replacement and seasonal animals as well. The Daily Post challenge is Details and it works well with what I have photographed.

Oh, my. These are wonderful. I’d say the carvers and their animals deserve a few more photos, and a few words, too. There are so many interesting things going on around the country that we never know about, unless someone like you says, “Hey! Come over here and look at this!”

It was a first time visit for us. I will follow up.. for sure. There will be a new location for them. For now some of the animals are dispersed in different places throughout the town..
