This is where we went yesterday afternoon. Girl’s Softball Little League will be using this Little League facility here in Southern, California. This is their first time here. The teams that played were from Southern and Northern California and from Kirkland, Washington and Juneau, Alaska. There was a bit of a marine layer but the temperature was still around 89 degrees . We could tell that the out of state girls fizzled a little because of the heat. I applaud all of the girls for their effort and for their parents that support them . The final game will be on Friday and the boys will follow and begin their playoffs. This field has been enlarged and looks very nice. We indulged in meatball sandwiches and I later regretted it as I needed to soothe my stomach with papaya enzymes when we got home.. A boys team from Australia was visiting and they were acknowledged before the game got on it’s way. If we don’t make the playoff on Friday we look forward to watching the boy’s play…….
