Sunny it was, with a chance of rain for Thursday and Friday. So yesterday we high tailed it to Champoeg State Park. Such a lovely place for leisurely stroll. Another week has flown by, and it is Spring Festival week seven. As I viewed the green hills, I heard a song..
We’ve had lots of rain this season. I admit that I have not been motivated to venture out. I look for what catches my eyes, that’s close to home. Delicate leaves of the maple tree and these golden- finch, contribute to the sweetness of this photo. It is week six, of Spring Festival 2022. I peeked at Dawn Miller’s photo’s and they look pretty special.
Springtime in Willamette Valley. I am assuming that what I am seeing is Mustard. I am still learning about what’s what in Oregon. The country girl lady in me, enjoys viewing farms and ranches. Dawn Miller has some beautiful photos of Mustard plants/fields at her blog. I am continuing along that line of thought too. Join us at Spring Festival 2022.
The appearance of this vineyard has most likely changed since we drove by. It’s not a location that we drive to, very often. Although there are plenty of vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Joining Dawn Miller and others for Spring Festival week 4.
I am happy to join along on this Spring Festival 2022 challenge. Thank you Dawn Miller! Most of the photos I took today, were taken while on a morning drive out of town. It had been about a year since we were last in this location. This barn has a newer coat of paint. I am including the following image only because I had never see a Magnolia tree with yellow blossoms.
