Festivals of the Leaves 2019: week 9
Other than the squirrel pictures from Sunday, these are the most recent photos, from our drive to Portland. Mr. G, had another surgery on October 30th. On this day he got his stitches out. We finally experienced the tram car and this was our view.
In the future, we will not hesitate to use this method of getting from one place to another. You can follow Dawn Miller, to keep up to date, with what’s what, in our world of Fall leaves and color.
Festival of Leaves 2019: week 6
Red Ridge Farm, is a delightful place to visit. Since the sun was bright, we made a point of getting out to enjoy the sunshine.
Besides wine tasting, there is a small but charming nursery and a gift shop, with tasty looking treats, books and all of those fun things, that we women like to look at.
For the past few days, the leaves have loosened their grip somewhat, due to the wind, causing them to dance and flaunt their beauty. The leaves on these trees are pretty much intact. Another week of color fun, here in the Willamette Valley. I will hop over to Dawn Miller’s to see what she and other color hunter’s have found.
Festival of the Leaves 2019: week 3
I’m so glad that I live in a world where there are Octobers..

We are on week 3 of Festival of the Leaves. I was fixated on the geese more than color at the time I captured this. My heart gets excited when I see them fly. But change is happening.. Please check out Dawn Miller’s blog, to see what she, and other participants are sharing.
Festival of Leaves 2019: week 2
Just a peek of where wild things grow
And if you are weary, you can rest among the Oak trees
Calling all hunters of Autumn color, we are on week two. To participate, go to Lingering Visions and say “hello,” to Dawn.
Festival of Leaves 2019: week 1
It’s time for Festival of the Leaves. Since we relocated in December, we have not experienced Autumn in this area. Dawn Miller at Lingering Visions, will be hosting this, for all Autumn leaf hunters. I look forward to fall color finds.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Variations
The theme at the Daily Post is Variations on a theme. It has been raining a lot so it has kept us indoors. At this time of year, many are looking for color, especially for those of you that have had endless days of snowfall. I am in no hurry for the days to hurry up as they fly by fast enough, but I can understand how we do get a little antsy for change. So for today, I offer you some variation in color…
