Wrapping up Spring Festival week 12, with this beauty. I like the color combination. This spring has been different. With more rain and less watering at this time, and continued color popping up. It’s been wonderful!

We are now at week 12. Festival of Leaves is wrapping up its seasonal challenge. This photo was taken downtown McMinnville, Oregon. McMinnville has a charm to it, that always has fun window displays to view. Thanks to Dawn Miller, who has been hosting for quite a while now. Her photography is beautiful and she’s great to work with. I also want to thank other participants at Festival of Leaves, as well. Even though we are wrapping it up here, many of us will continue sharing our creative endeavors at our blogs. Thank you to the wonderful community of bloggers who take time to visit.
It’s getting to be slim pickings, so I am using a photo from a recent trip to Bend. At this point we were on our way home. I love the burst of color. Joining Dawn Miller, at Festival of Leaves for week 11. Stop by for a visit..
I have been mia, and missing out on this epic season of the year. Joining host Dawn Miller and other’s for Festival of Leaves 2021.
Other than the squirrel pictures from Sunday, these are the most recent photos, from our drive to Portland. Mr. G, had another surgery on October 30th. On this day he got his stitches out. We finally experienced the tram car and this was our view.
In the future, we will not hesitate to use this method of getting from one place to another. You can follow Dawn Miller, to keep up to date, with what’s what, in our world of Fall leaves and color.
Red Ridge Farm, is a delightful place to visit. Since the sun was bright, we made a point of getting out to enjoy the sunshine.
Besides wine tasting, there is a small but charming nursery and a gift shop, with tasty looking treats, books and all of those fun things, that we women like to look at.
For the past few days, the leaves have loosened their grip somewhat, due to the wind, causing them to dance and flaunt their beauty. The leaves on these trees are pretty much intact. Another week of color fun, here in the Willamette Valley. I will hop over to Dawn Miller’s to see what she and other color hunter’s have found.
I’m so glad that I live in a world where there are Octobers..

We are on week 3 of Festival of the Leaves. I was fixated on the geese more than color at the time I captured this. My heart gets excited when I see them fly. But change is happening.. Please check out Dawn Miller’s blog, to see what she, and other participants are sharing.
