This beautiful photo, was given to me last month. I was delighted to get an updated photo of my son and his family. That’s what one gets for being long distance.. The little miss on the right is 9 years old today. Happy Birthday Tula!
We recently had the pleasure of young life come to visit. It livened us up and for several days, our blood flowed as it hadn’t in a long time. I had opportunity to be silly and participate in silly songs and actions. Grandpa G got to lighten up a
little I mean a lot, we ventured out to places that we had not been too for a while. We were delighted to finally meet Chloe. Big brother Corbin was very much intrigued by what he saw at Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum. I enjoy capturing those moments, that make me wonder what they are thinking about at the time..
It’s that time of year.. Current pictures of my grandkiddos is always a blessing and much appreciated. They certainly are a gift from God. As I continue on my journey of 100 days of thanks, I am grateful for the opportunity to observe their growth, and see them as I can. I applaud my children, for the great job of raising their children, in happy and nurturing households. Would you join me and others, this new school season and pray for all children that are going to school? For the little one’s in pre-school and daycare centers, and daycare providers and teachers.
My heart is full, and holds much gratitude, for the blessings of opportunity to experience new adventures, in grandmotherhood.
in the simple life I live, some days that is
i explore and look around
last week they caught my eye
and this is what i found..

and sit contently for hours
maybe it was peering eyes of the intruder
that gave reason for hesitation
to leave it’s place of safety
on the high place
of a hollyhock plant…
Little boy on the corner..
