Sometimes it seems like blossoms appear on trees overnight. Somehow, I got lost in the shuffle of days, and missed out posting for spring festival at Lingering Vision, last week. Please visit Dawn. Her photography often looks like paintings, so dreamy.
All I can say about this is, that I was intrigued by the light on the branches, of this Maple tree. It’s sweet to see the growth of leaves too. If you would like to participate, with like minded photographers, you can check out Spring Festival 2023.
It is kind of hit and miss lately, when it comes to getting out and about. I was delighted to see this field of Hellebores. For those of you that want to see some pretty Bluebells, visit Dawn, at Spring Festival 2023.
We had visitors from California a few days after Christmas. For about six of those days, all was lively in our household. Our cats had not seen that kind of activity in our home, for a very long time. They decided to spend most of their time under a bed. For two of the youngsters, it was a first time visit to Oregon. It was special to spend quality time with all of them. We had delicious meals prepared by the California chefs and it seemed that after they left, I kept finding little food gifts in our cupboards. There was a lot of laughter and many opportunities to observe little hands at work, putting legos and puzzles together. Their grandpa G is still needing medical attention. It will be a lengthy time frame of more surgery and recovery in the coming months. Their visit was a blessing and a high point for us.
I had fun with this, doing some photo editing. This is a city view, taken from the tram in Portland. Mister G had an appointment that day. I will call it, Rainy Day Portland View. I am participating with others in week 7 of Festival of Leaves.
I am sharing a few photos of two different Nutria’s that we saw. I had only read up on them, when we moved to Oregon. I had no idea that their two front teeth were colorful. It got into a scuffle with another nutria, and when it came up out of the water, I noticed the color. We observed them swimming, and then both got out, and were ready for a snack.
