A little flower power for all of you today.. As I searched my files I had a few ideas and was looking for something to jump out at me. I settled for the bouquet of Carnations that were in the guest bedroom. I love playing with the processing and really like when I get that vintage look. As we approach the change of year, I am pondering and thinking of what is important to me for this new year. For a starter I want to be in the moment and not think I need stuff to keep me full and happy. I want to wake up each morning and say “thank you,” for a new day to experience, to see, to listen, to be still, to learn things I haven’t learned yet, and to hear clearly the words.. this is the way.. May the New Year bring peaceful experiences and contentment and much more to this world. A Happy and Blessed New Year to you, my friends!

Awestruck! Having been a former California resident, I am really liking the vibrant colors that Fall has brought to Oregon. Today I am linking to Kim’s Tuesday Texture. I so look forward to it each week.
It’s Simple Things for today’s Texture Tuesday. Bikes are one of my all time favorites to photograph, among many other things. It’s a wonderful mode of transportation and a fun and healthy activity for families and individuals.
I am linking with Texture Tuesday. It is another Free and Easy challenge. They are fun! Since my focus continues to be sky watching, birds, color and clouds, I thought I’d continue with the trend. Psalm 91 is one of my favorite and I think it worked out nicely here. Thank you Kim for offering us opportunities to expand our horizons through all that you offer.
This photo was taken through our car windshield. It was raining and gave it a kind of weird but interesting look, that I happen to like.
It’s a very bright day today, in my life! It’s Photo Art Friday..I look forward to this meme each month. It’s fun to cut-loose with photo art and just see how far-out I will go. There are many wonderful textures to choose from Bonnie’s selection. The theme for March is ABSTRACT: Flower. If you are stuck in the doldrums of winter, stop by for a visit, you will experience an instant boost.
The prompt for today is Portrait…I used texture from Pixel Dust Photo Art , Picasa and experimented at Pixlr. These are my contributions for this week.
