Since my last post, I am thinking humor. I have been working on my belly laughs and now I have my husband engaging as well. I will keep you posted. Like clock work the days fly by.. Time for Texture Tuesday at Kim Klassen’s beautiful site. We have some pretty, summer action, going on in our small back yard. Kim’s work gives me the incentive to keep trying..
there’s something new
i want to do
nothing grand
but i don’t yet
understand
but it’s in my heart
where my ideas start
i’ll be patient and wait
to not be in a hurry
but to also not be late..

there’s a light at the end of the tunnel
i’ve been clearing the clutter away
it’s been such a painful experience
because the clutter wants to stay..
but this disease has got to go
it has been with me far too long
so it is time for clutter bug and i
to find something new to do
i already feel the freedom
and seeing a little light
as i say goodbye to clutter bug
because i want clutter out of my sight..

autumn rain
clears the air
revives the earth
from summer’s heat
hues of gold, yellow and brown
leaves that fall
and dance around
crispy apples, take a bite
sounds crunchy
like leaves under your feet..
bring out the sweaters
that wrap your arms
nice and cozy..
a cup of coffee or some tea
don’t forget about hot cider, and
of course a sweet spicy treat..

I had this photo in mind this morning, as I am back to work, two days a week with little one’s. I find that I am not too old, to learn something new.. But my body needs the rest of the week to recuperate… lol!

We stopped at a nursery in a very small country town. This cat was lounging in between plants, I guess trying to take an afternoon siesta.
