It Was Worth the Wait

I knew it would be..

Now if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.

Killing Time

Good morning! I feel as though I have missing in action and a bit hung over. Not in the way you may be thinking. But just the weight of my current responsibilities.

I don’t know who came up with the term “killing time,” and as I ponder on all the I have to do, I really don’t want to kill time.  But on this particular day I had to wait for my husband to get a hair cut, so I made the best of it..

We are all given the same hours in a day. I can’t say that I make the most of all the time. Some moments seem to slip away and before I know it, hours have passed. Procrastination is a time killer…so I’d better get busy. Later!

While some of us are waiting for signs of Spring to make an appearance, my pretty neighbor and her little girl are awaiting for the birth of…. baby sister or brother. I will keep you guessing.. The blessed event will be at the end of the month. Their affection for each other is sweetly displayed in this photo.

I remember the days of waiting during the last trimester. Sometimes the days seemed to move in slow motion and my body also moved in slow motion too.  Little miss spent some time with me on this day. It was a fun time for both of us, but not quite as special as seeing mom and being by her side..

All is quiet on the home-front. Mr. G’s foot appears to be healing nicely. We have had sunshine for several days now and it has helped to melt the snow. There may be some more on its way. I am getting a little antsy and looking for signs of  color up here in these mountains. Down below Iris’s are beginning to bloom. I have decided to brighten up a few photos from last year and add a little color as I wait..

I think this is a weed, but the flowers were pretty so I captured what I saw and added some texture to it.

These plants are unknown to me as well and the picture was taken in New Mexico.

I don’t think I have shared this previously. It too was taken in New Mexico while we were on the train. I really like how I was able  to brighten up the color using Picasa and texture from Pixel Dust Photo Art. I’ll put away my coloring pages for now and be patient for winter to make its exit..
