This Egret was in this tree on Thursday morning. My husband had an appointment at the Veterans hospital and I opted to sit outside and watch the geese, ducks and birds. At one point there was a scene like out of West Side story. One kind  of geese were chasing another kind  out of the water and away from the pond. They certainly made their point( with all of their honking and drama) and besides that the others were out numbered. The other few geese appeared to comply without a fight.. They all kept their distance for quite a while until two of the milder looking ones got into a fight. It was disturbing for me to watch as in my heart I just thought “can’t we all just get along?”
