Madrid is a former mining town that now draws tourist for its eclectic appearance. You can get an idea of this quirky place by clicking on the link. While in Santa Fe a couple we met suggested that we stop for a visit before we returned our rental car to Albuquercue. I had thirty minutes to walk around and take pictures. Some of these will give you an idea of what it looks like.
I don’t recall what the population is but we heard that property is reasonable. I’ll save the rest of the images for another time…
