A Part of My Story

For years I have read out of the same devotionals. Now that I am going through one of them again, this particular one stood out to me this morning. My tendency would be to explain but now it not the time. What I will say is that I have always been quiet. One on one I can also be chatty. I have spent the past months in a place of being a doer of the word and not just a hearer. That means that I am finally applying myself in the way of study of the Bible. It’s been exciting and quite an adventure. What I share now may not apply to you, or perhaps you have been one that has been broken hearted, due to the actions of those or someone in your life. We are at a very strange time here on earth. I do hope you have noticed. Matthew 24 will offer insight into the signs of the times. At Matthew 24: 10-15, it says And then many will be offended will betray one another and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Therefore, when you see the Abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand). What stands out to me, is that many will be offended and the love of many will grow cold. Often in life unforgiveness and bitterness will be rooted in one’s heart and stay there permanently. Because of the condition of the world, it’s time to let the love of God shine his light and expose what isn’t pleasing to him. Sin can fester and end up contaminating relationships. I say this out of life’s experiences. It is not time to sit on the fence waiting for others to change. We don’t know what we may face tomorrow. Out of love and compassion I implore all of humanity to examine your hearts and seek the face of a loving God who is patiently calling and waiting. Time to repent and surrender all of the disappointments, hurt, and unforgiveness. You will be set free from carrying the burdens that have bogged you down. Earthly freedoms are being taken away by lightning speed, our money system set to change, and deception is on the increase. Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

I am so very grateful, for all that God has done for me, and continues to do. Not only for me but for my loved ones, and for those that I pray for. I serve an Awesome God.
