Today, I think of the father I didn’t know. As a child I spent very little time with my biological dad. But today I think about him and do know that as a Navy sailor and a very young one at that, that he must have carried memories of being on a ship that was fired at repeatedly. I am sure this changed his life in ways I will never know. I also acknowledge my step-father who served as a paratrooper. Today I say” Thank you” to all Veteran’s and for those that continue to sacrifice on our behalf…
