I was tempted to buy this, but I didn’t. I think because I haven’t been successful with primrose. It sure is sweet, but slugs like them a lot. Nothing like festival of leaves or festival of spring to get my focus on what I enjoy. You can find host Dawn Miller here. I am thankful for her enthusiasm for photography.

That’s one of the prettiest primroses I’ve seen. What a nice start to the festival!

Thank you! As I recall I think you have pretty roses. Same here. 🤗 Are you familiar with a place called Descanso Gardens? I have a friend that goes there but I’m not sure of the location. I should look it up. Somewhere in southern Ca.

Yes! I do have pretty roses and my iris’s are blooming too. No, I’ve not heard of Descanso Gardens. I just looked it up on my map and it’s in Pasadena about an hour north of me. My sister is coming to town this next week and I’ll ask her if she’d like to visit there with me. I bet it’s just beautiful this time of year with all it’s blooms!!! Thank you for letting me know about it and I’ll take some photos and share once we see it. ❤️❤️❤️

I miss our primroses that would peek out of the earth at our last home. I didn’t plant them and there they were. Happy Spring to you.

I’m never sure about the hybrid primulas as they can be too gaudy, but this is a rather pretty and delicate colour. I much prefer our native primroses which are pale yellow or pale pink, but the S&S get at them here too.
