hiding behind tissue

is really not fun

my sneezes could take me

almost to the sun

red noised i have been

although

i have not been told

people have been polite

through these weeks

of a cold

how wonderful to breathe

through my nose once again

because my mouth got so dry

and it was getting quite old..

it feels good to feel good again

Oh, I’m sorry for your misery! But you’re exactly right. That feeling of “feeling good after feeling bad” is the best in the world. I hope you’re back to 100% soon!

Yes, as I shared with Helen, trying to juggle checking out books to patrons, with sneezing and runny nose has been a challenge.. sneeze, run a grab tissue and then run and wash hands.. Yes, so good to be almost back to normal.. Thanks Linda!

I am glad you feel better now. Very nice photo. Make me feel like to be at a beach. Snow is melting. Maybe pretty soon… ๐Ÿ˜‰
    Good night.

Glad you’re on the mend. Mine has been sore, sore throat but did get some antibiotics. Haven’t had those for few years, but I always don’t want strep. Guess it is the flu and cold season here too. It’s to be in the 60’s here next 4 days…very unusual for us so hope March behaves. haha

Thank you Peabea. I have been working and not pleasant to be sneezing on the job. Some are coughing and have had colds as well. I hope you are well too. We will see what March brings us. Take care!

Feel better soon! Isn’t it the most wonderful thing to be able to breathe freely through your nose again and smell? Having a stuffy cold really makes us appreciate the sense of smell I think.

Oh yes, and food was bland and tasteless. Why I even ate, I don’t know.. ( ; Breathing is wonderful… I am thankful for functioning senses… Thank you!

Oh yes, I can identify and am so happy not to have to have a tissue tucked in my sleeve!

Haha! I didn’t know you could make a poem out of the misery of cold.
Hope your sickness is gone, but your poem will remain to make readers smile..

I think not being able to breathe at night was the worst part about it. Or maybe the sneezing. Well I am over it now … Thank you! Glad that you read humor in it… ๐Ÿ˜€
